An Adventure Park is a course primarily used for recreational purposes. There are many different safety systems that Adventure Parks use to ensure client safety.

  • CBS – Continuous belay system
  • ISS – Interactive safety system
  • SBS – Self-belay system
  • ABS – Assisted belay system

This course meets the standard for a person to be qualified as a European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) Adventure Parks Instructor for the appropriate belay system, as set out in EN15567 pt 2.

This course will cover subjects through practical and theory sessions to enable the group to cover the entire syllabus.

General Requirements

  • Minimum age; 18 years old
  • Hold an in-date First Aid certificate
  • Must be confident at height
  • Good physical condition, able to partake in the activity
  • The specific belay system will be indicated on the certificates for successful candidates

Minimum duration 2.5 days, including assessment.

Cost: £250 per person (+VAT)

Certification: ERCA certificate
