It is a legal requirement under the Health and Safety – First Aid Regulations (1981) that work places provide an appropriate level of First Aid support.

It is also recommended by most governing bodies that you must possess a current, relevent First Aid certificate in order to hold their award (for example, Mountain Leader Award, ERCA Instructor awards).

All our First Aid courses meet the specifications of the Health and Safety Executive for first aid certificates and we not only offer the standard levels of First Aid courses, but also offer a bespoke First Aid course option, adapted for your company or sport. We run specialised First Aid courses for outdoor instructors covering First Aid emergency management in the many different environments encountered from caves to mountains. Our available courses are:

  • Emergency First Aid at Work 1 Day
  • 2 Day First Aid Training
  • First Aid at Work 3 Day
  • Bespoke Courses

For more details on each of our courses please scroll down.

We can arrange the venue, or run a course at your location if you prefer.

Unfortunately, we can only take group bookings of 4 or more and are unable to offer open courses for individual bookings.

All of our first aid courses include a practical assessment after which, upon successful completetion, candidates are issued with a certificate valid for 3 years.

Any of our standard first aid courses can be adapted to suit your organisation allowing your staff to focus more on what they are more likely to encounter.

Courses can also be combined, for example, in conjunction with a rope rescue course on site for construction workers, or with an ERCA Instructor course for adventure industry rope course staff.

For outdoor instructors we offer the ability to focus on a specific environment such as a mountain side, cave, crag or any number of locations.
